What is a Lucky15?
There are lots of different types of bets that you can do, so you should have a look at what best suits you and your type of punting. One of my favourite bets to do is a Lucky 15. It is far simpler than it may sound, trust me!
Firstly, you need to select 4 horses in different races. Make sure to add all these 4 selections to your betslip. I would suggest putting in horses that have odds of 5/2 or bigger. Then go to your betslip and click on a button/dropdown that says multiples, it will come up with different types of bets and you should see Lucky 15. Enter your stake in here, you can also select each way if you want to do this. Remember, when you do an each way bet, you always double your stake!
A Lucky 15 consists of the following bets,
- 4 singles
- 6 doubles
- 4 trebles
- 1 four-fold accumulator
A £1 win Lucky 15 is a total of a £15 stake. This is because you have a £1 bet on all 15 bets, listed above. So, it may seem slightly expensive on the face of it, but why I think this bet is good value is that if one horse doesn’t win, you can still win a good amount if the others win as you will have a treble and doubles and singles come in. It is hard to pick 4 winners in one bet, if you do fantastic but should be able to get your stake back at least with this type of bet with some good punting.
When the big festivals are on, all the bookmakers offer extra places on each race, this is the time make use of this and pick some big prices in a Lucky 15 and do it each way. Here are some examples of Lucky 15’s I have done recently to give you an idea!
